Balcony rental in Santo Domingo St.

Price range: 175,00€ through 275,00€

This place is something special — so special, in fact, that for the last 26 years, Spanish national television has chosen this exact spot to broadcast part of the Running of the Bulls. That tells you everything, right?

We’re on the first floor, with four balconies, and each one hosts three lucky guests. But here’s the twist — this isn’t your typical apartment. It’s actually one of the oldest pharmacies in Pamplona. Pretty cool, huh?

You’ll recognize it right away: just look up and you’ll spot a huge mural of Diana the Huntress, the Roman goddess, watching over the street from above the pharmacy doors.

From here, you’ll witness the bulls at their most powerful. This is the very beginning of the run, where they blast up the hill with all their energy. And yes… you’ll feel the rush — the bulls are so close you could almost reach out and touch them. (Don’t worry, they’re not that close!)

Since this space is a working pharmacy, and Spanish health regulations don’t allow us to bring food inside, we’ll do things the local way: after the run, we’ll head to a nearby café for a good coffee and a fresh croissant while we go over the highlights of what we just witnessed.

It’s one of those spots that gives you goosebumps — every single time.

Price is per-person on a shared balcony. Everyone gets a front-row view.

How to get here:

Most people start from Plaza del Castillo, Pamplona’s main square.
1. Once in Plaza del Castillo, look for Hotel La Perla.
2. To the side of the hotel, you’ll find a narrow street going downhill — this is Calle Chapitela. Start walking down this street.
3. At the end of Chapitela, you’ll see the wooden barricades used for the bull run. Do not cross into the running route.
4. Just before the barricades, take the first narrow street to your left — it’s called Calle Calceteros.
5. Walk about 50 meters (150 feet) — and you’ll find on your right Pamplona’s City Hall square. You’ll see the beautiful town hall right in front of you.
6. Keep walking toward the City Hall until you’re near the barricades again. Don’t step into the route, instead, take a sharp left, then an immediate sharp right.
7. This is Calle San Saturnino. Walk about 60 meters (200 feet), and on your right-hand side, you’ll see a pharmacy, with a big mural above it of the roman goddess Diana the hunter, that’s our spot!

Right in front of the pharmacy there’s a small, very special tree. That’s our meeting point at 7:00 AM. 🌳 We’ll have plenty of time to settle in before the bulls come thundering past.

If you are driving, parking might be a problem. There is a big car park underneath Plaza del Castillo. However, in order for you to “secure” a spot, you need to be parked by 6:30am.  Specially on July 7th, 8th and the weekends it is VERY busy. We always recommend to reach Pamplona with a car and a driver. This way you will be sure that you are at the balcony in time.

If you run into any difficulties, you can reach us at the phone numbers that you will receive with your booking confirmations.
